Comprehensive Treatment for Teens

It is not uncommon for a teen to act erratically as they adapt to their changing body and developing desire to gain independence. However, extreme personality or behavioral changes in 14- to 17-year-olds may signify a need for teen rehab.

At Florida Rehab for Teens, we treat troubled Hollywood teens for substance use, behavioral, and psychiatric disorders. Our specially trained clinical staff teaches teens how to adopt and enjoy a sober lifestyle, as well as recover from mental illness.

Please contact us today if you want to get help for your troubled child. Our admissions counselors can be reached at 954-416-2843 24/7. You can also send an email by clicking the link at the bottom of this page.

Treatment Options

We understand that every teen comes to us with unique needs and from a unique background. That is why our teen rehab center creates comprehensive treatment plans to meet the individual recovery needs of each patient. Based on scientific evidence, our 45-60 day inpatient treatment plans are more effective than shorter or outpatient-only plans.

Below is a more detailed explanation of the gender-separate services and therapies we include in our plans:

Medically Safe Detox (if necessary)

For teens that have become physically dependent upon drugs or alcohol, a medically guided and safe detox will be performed. This step completely removes substances from a teen’s body.

One-on-one Counseling

At Florida Rehab for Teens, patients receive one-on-one therapy with an assigned, primary therapist. During these regularly scheduled sessions, teens learn how to resist drugs, improve personal relationships, and handle stress in a productive manner.

Family Therapy

The behavior of a troubled teen can divide the household. However, family counseling can bring relatives together once again.

Group Therapy

Group therapy can help teens further improve their coping and problem-solving skills. Many patients also find relief in sharing similar experiences with peers.

Recreational Activity

Shooting hoops or playing a game of volleyball can be beneficial for recovering juveniles in several ways. Physical activity, art therapy, and music therapy help relieve stress, improve critical thinking skills, and boost self-esteem.

Our staff will coordinate with each teen’s school to make sure their education doesn’t fall by the wayside. Other options include taking virtual classes or GED courses during inpatient treatment.

Basic Living Skills

Our specially trained staff helps teens to sharpen basic life skills such as time-management, organization, and budgeting.

Hope for Recovery

It’s unbearable to watch a troubled teen suffer. However, there is hope for recovery.

Our licensed professionals are here to help adolescents heal from the damaging effects of drugs, alcohol, and mental illness. We want to help them feel whole again – mentally, physically, and spiritually.

Call our admissions counselors now at 954-416-2843 to get the recovery process started for your child. We are available to assist you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
